Leila McKinnon has worked as a journalist and television presenter for almost 20 years. She started her TV career in 1993 as a cadet at WIN Television in Rockhampton. In 1995 Leila began working with the Nine Network, reporting and presenting for Nine's Gold Coast News. Since then she worked as a reporter and host on A Current Affair, newsreader on Today and National Nine News, and reporter on What's Good for You. Leila currently co-hosts Weekend Today, reports for and hosts A Current Affair, and hosted the London Olympics for Channel 9.
