Australia’s Top 50 Kids Books, Vote Now!
Voting is now open for Better Reading’s Australia’s Top 50 Kids Books. And the good news is, by voting, you go in the draw to win the top 50 books!
To enter, you just need to vote for your all-time favourite kids book. It can be international or local, old or new, classic or debut – it just needs to be the kids book you love the most.
Make sure your vote counts by writing a specific title, for example, write The 13-Storey Treehouse instead of simply ‘Treehouse’. Voting ends on Monday 10 August at 5pm AEST, so vote now by filling out the form here.
We are excited to vote for our all-time favourites and hope you will vote for them too!
Some suggestions for your favourite picture books are The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.
For kids that are a little older, we suggest The 13-Storey Treehouse, The 117-Storey Treehouse and Treehouse Joke Book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton, and Eddie Woo’s Magical Maths by Eddie Woo.
And some of our favourite young adult fiction includes Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden, Take Three Girls by Cath Crowley and Fiona Wood, What I Like About Me by Jenna Guillaume, and Hive by A. J. Betts.
Read about them all below and vote for your fave!
